Training with WisdomWay provides you with the most comprehensive, in-depth foundation to be an expert in the first year of a family’s life. You’ll receive mindfulness-based and relationship-centered skills training, along with tools such as the Compass of Mindful Caregiving, that will support you to thrive in your personal and professional life.
What is the Compass
of Mindful Caregiving?
The Compass of Mindful Caregiving merges 4 Domains of Caregiving that will transform your care relationships. You and your client will benefit from this approach. You will develop more authentic, trusting relationships, and you’ll experience less caregiver burnout.
Skills & Knowledge
Learn up-to-date best practices while building a way of holding knowledge with careful intention, honoring the wisdom of those you serve, and making way for the skills and knowledge of others.
Develop empowered communication, and build attention and sensitivity to your client's needs. Learning where we fit, defining roles and needs, and removing obstacles for families to thrive.
Using mindful listening, deepen the trust and connections we build. Collaborate with others, cultivate empowered decision-making and support the change process, while preventing burnout and empathy fatigue.
Practice self compassion while remaining compassionate for families with diverse needs and experiences. We recognize that compassion is a practice and not only improves outcomes, but prevents burnout.
